Guatemala (March 2019)
March 1-9 Requested Donation: $ 1900
MSI is partnering again with The James Project of Latin America in Monjas, a small cowboy town, about 3 hours outside of Guatemala City, to provide a medical clinic outreach to the villages in the surrounding area. The vision of The James Project (based on James 1:27) is to meet the needs of the orphans and widows in the surrounding communities in a way that they can find peace and experience the healing love of Jesus Christ. MSI will also be working with their Shadow of His Wings Orphanage which is currently home to approximately 90 children that come from a variety of backgrounds – including physical and sexual abuse, neglect, abandonment, human trafficking, and/or the loss of both parents.
Please join us and give yourself away in the name of Jesus.
Healthcare providers (medical, dental and other specialties) are especially welcome, but non-medical caring volunteers are always needed. At the end of our medical clinics, we will spend some R&R time visiting Antigua, Guatemala.
Please consider participating with us and complete our Trip Application Form.
Donations will cover airfare, emergency medical insurance, room and board, transportation, medications and medical supplies for the clinic, and other necessary supplies.
Application Form must be received by January 21st.
